Who are we:
We are Anastasia Sorokina and Anastasia Karlovich, two dynamic, determined and delightful Anastasias of the Chess World. We have been working as a team for years on numerous projects and we believe that good chemistry is contagious!
Anastasia Sorokina
is the current Chairperson in Commission for Women’s Chess in the World Chess Federation (FIDE) and an ex FIDE Vice President. A chess player, arbiter, organiser, chess club owner, Anastasia has a huge experience in building big projects from the ground and bringing them to success. She has organised numerous prestigious events such as World Rapid and Blitz Cadet Chess Championships (with almost one thousand participants), European Individual Championships, European Corporate Championships, the WR Masters Super GM tournament and more.
Anastasia Karlovich
is a Woman Grand Master, awarded photographer, journalist & chess promoter. She is also an Events & Team Manager and she has held the post of FIDE Press Officer – a period during which she also held the Press Conferences of the World Chess Championships. She is currently a commentator and journalist for the Grand Chess Tour, collaborating with the Saint Louis Chess Club & the Kasparov Chess Foundation.
We are both enthusiastic with the prospect of any new ambitious project that will elevate chess with professionalism and style!
